Open since 4 January 2022, Morning Trocadéro sits just a stone's throw from place du Trocadéro, between avenue Kléber and avenue du Président Wilson. With room for 300 coworkers, the 2,600 m2 Trocadéro workspace has its frontage on rue Magdebourg, on the hill of Chaillot.
The original building is a private mansion dating from 1897, given a fresh new look to welcome its new coworkers. Its decor, inspired by Perriand and with Japanese influences, is home to premium services. The space is fitted with meeting rooms and hot-desking areas that will soon be available to all members, bookable through the Morning app.

Between Japanese aesthetics and Charlotte Perriand
Every Morning space is conceived as a world in its own right, with inspirations all of its own.
For Morning Trocadéro, interior architect Axelle Decante blended the influences of Charlotte Perriand with a certain Japanese aesthetic.
The world of Charlotte Perriand, revisited
For the fit-out of the Morning Trocadéro space, Axelle Decante drew inspiration from the creations of Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999). This avant-garde artist, who emerged in the late 1930s, was the first female designer. She became known in particular for her Chaise longue basculante, B306 (1928).
"I wanted to draw on Perriand's vocabulary of forms, to take inspiration from her style," notes Axelle. “The bookcase-partitions on the ground floor and garden level are influenced by her models and her practical, storage-fitted formats.”
The tabletops in the meeting rooms are also imbued with the spirit of the French designer's creations. The legs supporting the structure are thick and rounded. The vast tabletop in the Davioud meeting room is more than a little reminiscent of Perriand's Table basse Forme libre (1956).
A pared-back style, Japanese influences
Beige, ochre, Terracotta and Seram blue tones dominate the space's organic decor. This palette of soft colours and the natural materials adorning the space reveal its Japanese influences.
The chairs in the space, made from a light-coloured wood, also nod to a material central to Japanese design. But make no mistake: these pieces of furniture are made in France and come straight from la Chaiserie Landaise. The ground floor also features Piment chairs and Dune armchairs to warm up the atmosphere.
The pared-back style and the botanical touches are also characteristic of Japanese aesthetics. In Japanese architecture, nature indeed takes centre stage. “The lightness of the plants contrasts nicely with the solid furniture and creates a visual rhythm between volumes and colours,” Axelle explains.
A more discreet reference – to the staircases – is also worth pointing out. Inspired by La Muralla Roja by the Barcelona architect Ricardo Bofill, they provide remarkable transitions between the different areas.

Morning Trocadéro offers not only a pleasant working environment but also a range of services, open to all.
A panoramic terrace, light-filled spaces
Morning Trocadéro is bathed in natural light. Every floor has its own private terraces overlooking the street. As for the rooms facing the inner courtyard, they benefit from large glazed roofs.
For the space's 300 occupants, the top floor holds an unexpected treat. Every resident can enjoy the panoramic terrace on the 7th floor, reachable by lift. And in your sights: the Eiffel Tower, the Montparnasse Tower, the Butte Montmartre and the Sacré-Coeur basilica. Can anyone top that?
A range of services, sharing between members
In addition to the private offices, coworkers can book up to 8 hot-desking spots through the Morning app under the “nomade” tab. The meeting rooms are also bookable under the “réunion” tab.
Adélaïde Vaillant – the space's manager – is on hand to smooth and encourage exchanges. Far more than an administrator, she is here to spark interactions between the venue's various occupants. Among the members, we might mention Sharies (a property operator reinventing the coliving experience), Preligens (an artificial-intelligence technology geared towards security and intelligence) and Casteldoza Finance (a corporate finance advisory firm).
The ground-floor coffee bar serves hot drinks and pastries of all kinds. For lunch, a range of hot and cold dishes is also on offer. A (very) handy tip: you can pay at the coffee bar with the Swile luncheon-voucher card. There is also a Totem stand near the coffee bar, on hand for food or toiletry essentials in a pinch.
Finally, a gym, a wellness room and showers are available on level -1. To book a fitness class (Hatha yoga, boxing, circuit training, barre or Tai Chi Chuan) or a wellness session (seated massage and acupressure with essential oils), head to the Morning app under the “programme” tab.
