“Walking into our space, I saw happy people” by Loïc Soubeyrand, Swile

Founded by Loïc Soubeyrand in 2018, Swile is a company that issues luncheon vouchers for employees. Its aim: to reinvent the experience of the lunch break with colleagues. And it seems to be working: in 3 years, close to 400,000 users - spread across 13,000 companies - have been using this service on a daily basis.

To support its growth, Swile has had to recruit 300 employees in 3 years. One third of the workforce is in Paris, another third in Montpellier and the final third works remotely. To support this hyper-growth, Morning tracked down and fitted out an entire building in the Sentier district of Paris in order to offer the Swile teams a workspace in step with their ways of working and their ambition. A look back at this collaboration with Loïc Soubeyrand.

What was at stake in your search for offices?

"The whole point of these beautiful premises is really to feel not as if you are in a cold office, but on the contrary to feel all the positive energy that we try to convey day to day.
Going through Morning was hugely important to us because it allowed us to have a completely open-plan space. All the energy is set free there, just like everyone's potential. Our previous offices were very different, as we had a multitude of small spaces."

How are your offices organised?

"When you arrive on the ground floor, you find an ultra-open space with a barista to welcome you. This space will also be useful for holding events. Once we go past this "village square", we can head down to the lower ground floor, where you find a whole host of meeting rooms. But also a relaxation and games room.
The first, second and third floors are taken up by fully fitted-out offices that meet all the needs of our Swilers: you can both work together and also get away on your own in phone booths or small meeting rooms when we have discussions in a small group.

On the fourth floor, we have a relaxation area that will also come in handy for events. The fifth floor is taken up by spaces more suited to concentration."

What are the advantages of Morning?

"The great paradox when you are growing is that you inevitably look for offices and you are hugely proud to secure a 3-6-9 lease. Except that, by the time you have carried out the works, moved in and so on, you arrive in your new offices but your maximum capacity is already reached.

Having partners like Morning at your disposal, who allow you, without having to sign a 3-6-9 lease, to take an entire building so you can keep growing with peace of mind up to several hundred people, is priceless!"
