“We wanted a single, welcoming place to unite the teams, with real hubs of life.” Those are the words of Julie Legalché and Ninon Guisard, respectively Office & Team Care Managers at Pretto, a fintech specialising in online mortgage broking and in modelling home-purchase projects.
The 3000m2 space spread across 3 floors is home to Pretto's roughly 180 Paris-based staff. Julie and Ninon explain how the Morning teams fitted out their new offices on rue de Paradis, found by Leosquare.
Julie Legalché goes into the detail of the collaboration: “We set up an internal fit-out squad made up of around ten volunteers. That allowed us to understand the needs of each team.” She adds: “We then visited several Morning spaces to get a feel for the design, and the Morning teams put several proposals to us. We agreed on the option best suited to our needs and to your budget.”
It was in fact Antoine Legris, our fit-out project lead in charge of the file, and his works team who drew up these fit-out proposals, always in keeping with a brief supplied by Pretto. For Julie Legalché, “The idea was above all to anticipate Pretto's growth, but also to unite the teams by finding a convivial place that could welcome, and be welcoming to, everyone.”
The main needs were as follows:
☞ A welcoming place, with real hubs of life
☞ A workspace designed to welcome new staff as well as clients.
☞ Zones dedicated to specific uses: meeting rooms, training room, communal areas, workstations, phone booths, and so on.
The Morning teams delivered these bespoke, turnkey offices in record time. Julie Legalché explains: “We got the keys to our offices on rue de Paradis on 15 July, ready to move in on 4 September. That short timeframe left Morning a month and a half to create the workspace of our dreams; a challenge Antoine and his team met with flying colours!”
As an aside, 3 rooms on the second floor are listed as heritage buildings! A real challenge for our works team, who worked flat out to fit them out in line with Pretto's wishes while respecting the rules governing historic monuments.
