Mental health at work, with Teale

"Failing to properly address the subject of mental health costs the company €3,000 per employee per year", Julia Néel Biz, co-founder and CEO of Teale, tells us.

Teale is the first holistic mental-health platform dedicated to employees. Its mission: to put the employee's mental health at the heart of company culture.

The mobile app is built around 3 pillars:

Map: place the employee on a mental-health index, created and managed by Teale.

☞ Programme: offer a tailored mental-health pathway based on the index obtained. Depending on the results and the profile identified, a programme is proposed. It is made up of psychoeducation videos and activities drawn from therapy and from the cognitive and behavioural sciences.

Consult: book, if needed, an appointment with an expert for one-to-one or group support.

For the co-founder, mental health at work is organisations' foremost concern. "Health-related issues have a strong impact on turnover; 65% of working people plan to leave, or have already left, their company for mental-health reasons. It is also the second leading cause of sick leave after Covid.", she tells us.

And to feel good at work? There's nothing better than looking after your brain, by taking a break roughly every 45 minutes.
